The wheel rim is constructed of alternating layers of teak and holly creating a beautiful contrast of two classic maritime woods. The Carbon/Wood Inlay Wheel is an example of our most dramatic and finely crafted wheel to date. These wheels were originally crafted for a custom Baltic 97 and feature a 48"(1220mm) custom molded carbon fibre wheel that has recesses molded in to accept an exquisite lamination of teak with a highlighting border of holly. The spokes gently blend into the rim with an artistic visual segue of carbon fibre. The wheel rim is crafted in alternating layers of teak and holly with a touch of exposed carbon fibre for contrast. The wheel hub features an optional Edson wheel clutch set into a carbon fibre hub. The entire wheel is coated with multiple layers of clear Awl-Grip® for a mirror finish.
